Most tourmaline crystals available on the market are single crystals. Many matrix pieces are really dominating tourmaline crystals with quartz or mica attached on a side. It is not very common to find an aesthetic specimen featuring a sharp tourmaline crystal of good color nicely contrasting with the white matrix like in case of this particular specimen.

A relatively large, complete sapphire crystal with transparent zones and pleasant tones of yellow and orange. The crystal structure is sharp with multiple striation faces. From perhaps the most famous sapphire locality, which can be considered a classic one- Ratnapura, Sri Lanka.

A classic single fluorite crystal from Erongo featuring typical color zoning with more colorless area near the surface and dark green phantom in the crystal core, partially copying the surface structure.

A perfectly perched complex ruby crystal on marble from Vietnam. The bright red ruby crystal is about 3.5 cm tall and is translucent.

A lovely, highly lustrous botryoidal smithsonite cluster. The small cabinet specimen is of pleasant light green-blue coloration and could be a nice addition to any Mexican suite. There is a small contact in the backside.

A beautiful translucent cluster of dark green crystals with sharp terminations from a classic locality of Serifos, Greece. In recent times quality Serifos quartz is becoming more and more rare and difficult to obtain, especially intact mid-size specimens. Serifos Island is a World famous locality for some of the finest green quartz specimens and the fact that there is a ban on collecting with potential severe consequences, the relatively few fine specimens are usually those which resurface from old collections.
