WOW! Deep purple phantoms inside a highly lustrous and clear fluorite cube! In addition, the crystal is in absolutely pristine condition and perched on starkly contrasting milky quartz crystals. Slightly bevelled edges and a few stepped side crystals set another nice accent. What an awesome killer specimen from a now defunct part of the Berbes quarries.

Sharp and lustrous acanthite crystals on quartz matrix. Tiny pyrites and hematite inclusions set a nice contrast. Great classic specimen, very hard to obtain any fine specimens from this defunct locale.

Botryoidal calcite and a spray of stibnite forming a very aesthetic and highly balanced specimen. The combination is indeed very rare, and specimens like this are almost impossible to obtain today. Great condition and shape!

Sparkling blue barite blades forming a very 3-dimensional specimen. The piece is in great condition and looks beautiful from either side. An old label is coming with the piece. Special side note on the back side of the label: 15. march 1988 "for pulling out a tooth" (the collector who got the rock was a dentist - oouch!)

Stunning specimen of elongated quartz crystals forming a very aesthetic cluster! The crystal show stepped negative sceptre growth and get very clear towards the termination. Small pyrites and calcites, so typical of the locale, set a nice contrast. Great condition and exquisite form!

Funny cactus-style manganoan dolomite cast structures from Cavnic! The back side shows negative forms of large botryoidal calcites.

Amazingly colourful and well formed iridescent goethite of botryoidal shape! From a small and limted find in 2014, only very few specimens of this quality and beauty were found.

ZW46 - Sphalerite on Quartz - SOLD

Large honey-coloured sphalerites perched on quartz matrix. Smaller cubic galena features bevelled corners and sets a nice contrast. Very slight edge wear is present, but it is small in context and barely visible. The size of the crystals and the composition of the specimen is truly magnificent!

Totally gemmy and highly lustrous fluorite twins scattered on a typically brownish matrix. Great quality from the old finds. There are no flaws inside the crystals, they are clear and sharp throughout! Stunning daylight fluorescence, the piece shows an intense and very beautiful emerald green in artificial light.
