A 6 by 4 inch plate of white granite is host to about two dozen pink fluorite crystals. The fluorites show a deep pink core and slightly purple corners, as so typical of the famous Rufibach pocket. The largest crystal is 2.3 cm wide. The dense coverage and arrangement of the fluorites make this a truly fine and attractive alpine fluorite specimen!

WOW!!! This is the most aesthetic and most beautiful ironrose i have ever seen from any locality in the Alps! Two rosettes are perched atop white granite matrix, and several brilliant smoky quartz crystals set a beautiful contrast. the luster is brilliant like a mirror on all crystal faces. From the famous Clapasson pocket on Schafberg, Furka region. Indeed a masterpiece creation of mother nature!

Fantastic sparkling epidote crystal cluster on byssolite matrix! The Knappenwand is well known for the very best epidote specimens in the world, and this specimen is an excellent floater cluster fulfilling all the high standards of the locality. The luster is excellent and the composition is fine and highly balanced. As usual with these fragile clusters, a few of the small and minor crystals are not terminated, but all the big ones on top are in perfect condition and undamaged. An excellent small cabinet sized specimen. No repair!

RB41 - Smoky Quartz - SOLD

This is a gorgeous specimen of smoky quartz crystals on granite matrix. The crystals feature a deeply saturated smokey hue, still bright enough to show the excellent colour and the clarity in regular daylight. Only one small side crystal on the lower right side has a small chip on the tip, just about 1 mm across, all the others, and also the main crystal, are pristine and in perfect condition. The granite matrix plate is about 2 cm thick and very solid. Highly recommended to all entusiasts of alpine quartz specimens!

WOW! What a striking gwindel of highest standards! The clarity is superb and the twist is fabulous - this is a tall gwindel featuring all desirably qualities a top gwindel specimen should have. The bottom side is fully crystallized, there is no damage whatsoever! Killer indeed!

Sharp blades of wulfenite filling a small cavity in very rich coverage. The crystals are translucent, partially even transparent and show a nice and deep yellow colour with a slight orange tone. The specimen is in great condition, the main crystals in the cavity are all in perfect condition. An excellent and rare sample from the type locality of wulfenite. Ex Reinhard Dallinger coll. Note: This specimen cannot be shipped due to its fragility, it needs to be hand-carried and delivered to a mineral show.

A nicely isolated single pink fluorite on granite matrix. Small smokey quartz crystals add a nice contrast. Very typical style of the well-known Rufibach pocket. The crystal has a small cleavage on the back side. Very aestetic and well balanced specimen!

This group of two diverging quartz crystal has amazing luster and clarity! The distinct striations of "Tessin" style quartz give incredible sparkle to the surface. Golden mica crystals attached to the rear side add even more beauty. Due to the incredible transparency they are well visible from the front side too. Little edge wear is present, but insignificant and in the lower section only, both crystal tips are pristine and undamaged.
