PM126 - Strontianite - SOLD
Oberdorf an der Laming, Steiermark, Austria
Size: 4.3 x 3.7 x 2.9 cm

This specimen features a large columnar strontianite predominantly sitting on magnesite matrix. Towards the termination the colour gets more intense and results in a pleasing and highly desired reddish brown hue. The prism faces are sharp and lustrous, the termination faces are stepped and bevelled. Oberdorf an der Laming is the only locality in the world that has produced strontianites of that size and quality. This is a remarkably fine miniature, very hard to find in the market today. Ex R. Metzger collection, his label is coming with the piece. A note on the back side says that he sold it to Dr. Thaller in 1961 for 80 Shillings.

Size: 6.7 x 4.7 x 2.8 cm

A well formed, aesthetic cluster of highly lustrous epidote crystals! The main crystals are all well terminated. The lying crystals show a special bent structure, resulting from a rehealed break that happened during genesis in the pocket. Ex Dr.Patzak collection, Vienna.

XY159 - Wagnerite - SOLD
Höllgraben, Pfarrwerfen, Werfen, Salzburg, Austria
Size: 10 x 4.6 x 3 cm

An exceptional specimen from the type-locality. The mineral was discovered in 1821 and until now there are no other localities world-wide, which have ever produced crystals in this exceptional dimension. Ex Heinrich Prager collection.

XY158 - Flos Ferri - SOLD
Erzberg, Eisenerz, Steiermark, Austria
Size: 7.9 x 6.2 x 3 cm

Blue floss ferri specimens from the locality are exceedingly rare and very hard to obtain. This particular specimen shows an outstanding saturation and should be high valued for its rarity! Ex K.Eggerth and Heinrich Prager collections, Vienna.

LE01 - Calcite with Hematite - SOLD
Banat, Caraş-Severin Co., Romania
Size: 25 x 18 x 19 cm

This is a very showy large cabinet sized hematite included calcite specimen, featuring a highly impressive and very 3-dimensional crystal formation! The bottom side is fully crystalized, actually the piece grew as a complete floater. It is in great condition, just one calcite side crystal on the lower left side is not fully terminated, all the others are in great condition. Calcite is admittedly quite a common species, but hard to find in this beauty and aesthetics - combined with this enormous size!
