LK15 - Calcite on Dolomite - SOLD
Joplin Field, Tri-State District, Jasper Co., Missouri, USA
Size: 9 x 8.5 x 6.8 cm
 
A classic, honey coloured, twinned calcite crystal perched on top of a dolomite matrix. This specimen comes from the "Mineralien Museum der Humboldt Universität Berlin", two old labels are coming with the piece. The matrix is in fact much larger than shown on the picture, it is easily the size of the calcite crystal, possibly even a bit larger. No damage. A classic and very aesthetic specimen! Superb szenicsite crystals to 31 mm forming a very nice and aesthetic group! Szenicsite crystals are very rare and do hardly ever get that big. The piece comes with an original handwritten labal by Terry Szenics.

AB17 - Hausmannite and Datolithe - SOLD

Razor sharp and well terminated, glossy hausmannite crystals formed a very 3-dimensional specimen. Pink datolithe crystals add a lot of interest and contrast to the piece. Very rare combination! No damage.

RM14 - Baryte with Marcasite - SOLD

Large sharp terminated lustrous crystals formed this very 3-dimensional specimen. The combination with sparkling micro-crystals of pyrite and marcasite is very attractive. No damage to any crystals on the front side.

LK13 - Scheelite - SOLD

A large and nicely isolated octahedral scheelite crystal resting on a bed of mica. The scheelite has an exceptionally deep orange colour. It is in pristine condition and measures 4.7 cm across. Great aesthetics and visual impact! Ex Oliver Konczer collection.

Superb cluster of pagoda style calcite, partly covered by dark iron oxides. Great aesthetics and complete all around! No significant damage to report. Ex Oliver Konczer collection.

A beautiful cinnabar crystal sizzing on dolomite and quartz matrix. The crystal measures 1.7 cm across. Ex Oliver Konczer collection.

XY148 - Magnetite - SOLD

The sharp octahedrons are up to 18 mm across, a remarkable size for the locality and a very eye-catching sample with lots of well exposed crystals.

XY152 - Lazulite - SOLD
Rädelgraben, Werfen, Salzburg, Austria
Size: 3.2 x 2.2 x 2 cm
 
The main crystal is 12 mm across, it shows intense blue color and good contrast to the matrix. The locality produced the very finest lazulites of any European deposit. The discovery was famous, and fine pieces are very rare and hard to obtain today.

This is a so called "feather" calcite, based on the typical, unique texture of the brownish crystals. A nice and well formed sample from this famous discovery.

NH10 - Mimetite - SOLD

Intense orange-yellow fan-shaped mimetite crystals with sparkling faces on a well balanced matrix, a little green spot of malachite sets a lovely contrast. A really nice sample in excellent quality!

XY137 - Calcite - SOLD

Lovely blades of manganoan calcite sitting on a host rock primarily made of sphalerite and pyrite. A classic Cavnic piece (found 1969) in great shape and condition. Ex Leo Thalhammer collection, his label is coming with the piece.
