AS33 - Descloizite - SOLD
Berg Aukas, Namibia
Size: 7.2 x 4.9 x 4.1 cm

Berg Aukas is world-renowned for its extraordinary descloizite (zinc analogue of Mottramite) specimens, and this particular specimen represents the very best quality and crystal size for this most relevant locality. The piece shows one excellent spear-point bladed crystal. The dimension of this main crystal is absolutely outstanding - even for Berg Aukas. The luster of all crystals is superb and the assemble couldn´t be more aesthetic. I use the designation "masterpiece" very carefully, but this specimen is the very best piece I ever saw from the locality and "masterpeice" is the only labeling, which does justice to it. No significant damages to report.

VM17 - Fluorite - SOLD
Ruguan Mine, China
Size: 8.8 x 6.8 x 6.8 cm

WOW! What an incredible fluorite crystal perched on a bed of drusy quartz crystals! The fluorite features predominating rhombohedral, and smaller cubic faces, resembling the form of a garnet! In addition, there is a green core and several layers of fantastic purple phantoms around it. Just amazing! Great visual impact and no damage.

VG14 - Emerald - SOLD
Muzo Mine, Vasquez-Yacopí Mining District, Boyacá Dept., Colombia
Size: 5.8 x 4.1 x 3.8 cm

This is a very dramatic piece with a central emerald flanked by sharp terminated lustrous Calcite crystals. The large main crystal is of top color and glassy luster, and is very large for such a specimen. It is entirely transparent throughout, though with small internal cluods as usual in a specimen. The habit shows a lot of details and sharp terminated modifications. The smaller side crystals are not of less quality. In excellent condition damage-wise. What a gorgeous sample from this well-known locality!

AU07 - Aquamarine - SOLD
Jos Plateau, Plateau State, Nigeria
Size: 7 x 2.7 x 2.2 cm

This is a killer aquamarine crystal from an African source! The colour is shockingly strong, especially in the sunlight. The termination bevels are exceptionally fine, and the surface structures are special and unique. What a gorgeous gemstone crystal in perfect condition!

IN03 - Tourmaline - SOLD
Chia Mine, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Size: 18.5 x 3.7 x 2.4 cm

WOW! What a gorgeous multiple-coloured tourmaline crystal! The picture was just made with natural daylight from the back side, no artificial light used, and the colours are indeed that strong and intense. There is one repair right above the pink zone, but this was professionally done and is barely visibly. The termination is perfect and shows a pleasing yellow colour. The sidecar crystals are all terminated. The size of the crystal is indeed shocking, it is a true masterpiece for an advanced collector of gem species!

A461 - Fluorite - SOLD
Rogerley Mine, Weardale, North Pennines, Co. Durham, England
Size: 11 x 6 x 7.6 cm

WOW! What a classic English masterpiece! Found in the famous "Jewel Box Pocket" in Summer 2008, this piece is easily one of the very best specimens from the recent mining period at the Rogerly mine! The luster and clarity of this particular pocket is shockingly fine and still unrivaled. Three large and sharp twins rest amidst smaller fluorite and galena crystals on a cabinet sized matrix. Published in Lapis magazine several times (January 2010 issue), and in the book "Mineralienbilder" by Hilde Könighofer, page 145. The clarity is fantastic and the fluorescence in daylight is just jaw-dropping! A masterpiece by all standards! Ex Robert Brandstetter collection.

LI02 - Liddicoatite - SOLD
Estatoby, Sahatana Valley, Antananarivo Prov., Madagascar
Size: 14 x 8.9 x 8.7 cm

This is a gorgeous sample of multicolour liddicoatite from the recent production at Estatoby mine. The colours range from a deep red on top to green and cognac brown in the middle and lower sections. The termination faces are nicely bevelled on all sides and in pristine condition. The composition of two main crystals in parallel grwoth and another crystal crossing at the lower front side gives character to the piece and makes it truly unique. The piece reveals all it colours at best when backlighted with led light spots. Striking size and incredible visual impact! Illustrated in the MINERALS magazine by Tomasz Praszkier, Issue#6, page 16. Price on request.

A489 - Tourmaline - SOLD
Dunton, Maine, USA
Size: 7.5 x 5.4 x 4.3 cm

WOW! What a killer tourmaline from a classic US locality! Very distinct mint-green and turquoise-green colour zoning gives a unique character. The shape is gorgeous all around, combined flat and steep pyramidal faces make up an amazingly fine termination! Great striations are present on all sides. The piece features a cluster of two crystals in parallel growth. From an old private collection, the label is coming with the piece. Absolutely stunning colours, condition and form combined with great rarity and provenance. Superb indeed!

PM39 - Heliodor - SOLD
Volodarsk-Volynskii, Zhytomyr Oblast' (Zhitomir Oblast'), Ukraine
Size: 9.8 x 4.6 x 4.2 cm

WOW! What a gorgeous 245g heliodor crystal! The etching patterns are exceptionally fine all around, and the clarity is fabulous!

TL01 - Anglesite - SOLD
Touissit, Oujda-Angad Prov., Oriental Region, Morocco
Size: 11 x 9.8 x 4.7 cm

Clear yellow anglesite crystals to 7 cm in length forming an awesome crystal cluster! Three large crystals head out of the crowd and set a clear focus. The piece is in excellent condition, there are just a few tinly little rubs on a few edges, but they are insignificant and forgivable. The piece is a floater and crystalized on the back sie as well. What a gorgeous piece from the classic old finds!

A388 - Liddicoatite - SOLD
Bevaondrano, Ikalamavony District, Matsiatra Region, Fianarantsoa Province, Madagascar
Size: 5.7 x 2.7 x 2.4 cm

WOW! What a killer tourmaline crystal from an old find in Madagascar! The crystal is in fact a composite cluster of several individuals in paralel growth. The termination faces are stepped and all well developed. It displays indeed very well from all sides. The colour is green on top, changes to a blue-green in the center and peach-pink towards the lower end (which is actually more intense in person). Only about a dozen of this style has been found, and this is truly a superb one!

TK12 - Azurite - SOLD
Milpillas Mine, Cananea, Sonora, Mexico
Size: 7.3 x 4 x 4.1 cm

WOW! What a striking floater cluster of doubly terminated azurites. Razor sharp edges and perfect luster, combined with electric blue colour assign this highly sculptural piece. It is equally fine crystalized all the way around.
