IT22 - Proustite - SOLD
Niederschlema, Schlema, Erzgebirge, Saxony, Germany
Size: 5.4 x 4.7 x 3.9 cm

WOW! What a rich and well defined sample of classic German proustite. The mining district of Schlema, Saxony is well known in the mineral world for its sharp and fiercy red proustite crystals. This specimen is a complete solid mass of proustite crystals throughout, it certainly was collected in an exceptionally rich ore vein. Individual crystals reach a length up to 3.5 cm. The first picture shows the specimen glowing deeply red in backlight, but even the other pictures in regular led light show a significant red hue, which is even better in the hand. Ex H.-G. Penndorf collection, Dresden, coll.no.811. Two of his labels are still comimg with the piece, stating the piece was found in 1960 in Gang Brahma on 720 meters below sea level.

BT28 - Tanzanite - SOLD
Arusha Region, Tanzania
Size: 6.7 x 5 x 3.5 cm

WOW! This is truly a fantastic pair of tanzanite crystals! Two crystals in cluster are exceedingly rare, and these two crystals have truly fantastic quality also! One corner of the crystal was replaced by epoxy filling, otherwise the specimen is in really great condition. The colour change is very well visible, and the sharpness and clarity are just breath-taking!

A425 - Fluorite - SOLD
Zinggenstock, Grimsel, Haslital, Berner Oberland, Switzerland
Size: 8 x 6 x 4.5 cm

WOW! Two exceptionally large and deep coloured fluorites resting on granite matrix. One of the very best fluorite specimens found in the famous Rufibach pocket!

A590 - Epidote - SOLD
Knappenwand, Untersulzbachtal, Pinzgau, Salzburg, Austria
Size: 18.1 x 6.2 x 3.9 cm

WOW! Whan an awesome epidote rocket, rising up from a cluster group of byssolite and epidote crystals. This is indeed one of the tallest crystals I have ever seen from this famous locality, it measures incredible 17.3 cm from top to bottom! The crystal crossing on the lower right side is thick and sturdy, it measures 2,7 cm in width and features a sharp and brilliant termination. The size is indeed shocking and impressive, and the luster is great all around as well. It is actually bright like a mirror, the best I heve seen from this famous classic locality. This piece comes from one of the last great pockets found in 2008/2009 mining season. The locality has produced nothing even close since then. Unfortunately, the miners are quite sure that the Knappenwand is most likely exploited and production will come to an end soon. This is an excellet opportunity to get one of the best and tallest epidote specimens ever fond at this classic Alpine locality. Repaired 10x, all lock fit, no parts missing though, and no damage on any of the terminations.

BS09 - Spinel - SOLD
Mogok, Pyin-Oo-Lwin District, Mandalay Division, Myanmar
Size: 4.3 x 3.7 x 3 cm

This is a huge and very impressive spinel crystal of connoisseur quality level. The colour is a very pleasing and interesting mix of magenta and hot pink, very uncommon and rare. The modified octehedron is pristine all the way around, it is a full floater and well crystalized on all sides. However, i think the most important feature are its marvellous growth patterns. Numerous triangles and other rounded structures grace all the sides. A rare Mogok beauty at its best!

WT05 - Rubellite - SOLD
Jonas Mine, Conselheiro Pena, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Size: 10.1 x 2.9 x 2.4 cm

This fantastic rubellite specimen is well known from the Denver Fine Mineral Show poster 2018. A glossy and transparent 4 inch rubellite crystal is accented by a lovely rose of lepidolite and cleavelandite, which is perched to it in the lower third section. The colour is a deep and intense magenta-red, very typical and distinctive of this famous rubellite pocket collected by Ailton Barbosa in 1978. The aesthetics of this rocket-shaped crystal is just breathtaking, and it is very showy from all sides. A perfect rubellite for all connoisseur collectors of tourmaline! Remarkably the crystal has no repair and no restoration.

Pasto Bueno, Pallasca Province, Peru
Size: 7.1 x 6.1 x 3.6 cm

Pure candies! Sharp and lustrous rhodochrosite rhombs are perectly placed on a white matrix made of elegant needle quartz. The pink is hot and sweet, the best i have seen from the locality so far. And the luster could not be better either. Very well balanced, it is just amazing. 2 professionally done restorations.

HR02 - Rubellite - SOLD
Antsira, Sahatany Valley, Antananarivo Province, Madagascar
Size: 5.7 x 2.8 x 3.6 cm

Wow! Red tourmaline at its best! Rubellite, opal, quartz, orthoclase and small phenakites form a gorgeous composition that reaches the top level of balance and aesthetics. The colour is an open and vivid magenta-red, it glows just in the sun or regular daylight, even without any backlight. Only less than half a dozen of tourmaline pockets on earth have ever produced a red hue of that brightness and intensity. There is one repair on the crystal group in the center, no restoration and no damages on the terminations. What a wonderful specimen, a dream of every tourmaline collector!

IT17 - Indicolite - SOLD
Santa Rosa Mine, Itambacuri, Doce Valley, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Size: 8.2 x 1.6 x 1.4 cm

This crystal is not just blue - this is electric, neon blue and the intensity of the photo is just a shadow of how it looks in person. The clarity and translucency is fantastic, the crystal seems to glow even when it is lying in a box! While most indicolite world-wide are very dark and need at least moderately backlight, this particular specimen shows the color even under daylight, no backlight was used for the photo! This is truely fanatstic, exceptional quality. Sharp terminated and highly lustrous all around, no sgnificant damaes to report.
