A124 - Smoky Quartz Gwindel - SOLD
Feldschijen, Kanton Uri, Switzerland
Size: 8 x 8 x 4.2 cm

What a fantastic gwindel specimen! It has morion colour and a wonderful deep reddish brown when backlight. There are a few small contacts on the base side (these are well visible on the pictures, but they are all small and insignificant). There is no damage, no edge wear and no chips! The luster is exceptionally bright on all sides! Internal gemminess is amazing also, no cracks and no inclusions from top to bottom! One of the very best small cabinet sized smoky gwindels we have ever had!

RS06 - Fluorite - SOLD

What a killer specimen from the Swiss Alps! Several pink fluorites in a cluster are perched atop a clear quartz crystal! The fluorites have a very pleasing and intense pink colour and very good transparency! The quartz crystal is fully crystallized at the bottom side, too. The piece is in fact a floater and totally pristine all around! No damage and no repair!

What a striking colour combination! Emerald green fluorite on yellow stilbite! Only very few specimens like this have been recovered in the 1980s, and nothing even close has been found ever since!

A192 - Crocoite - SOLD

One of the very best crocoite specimens ever recovered at the Adelaide mine! This masterpiece features several sprays of crocoites on top of a richly covered gossan matrix. Fantastic luster! Just jaw-dropping!

This is a fantastic "half-wing" crystal from the best pocket ever found at the locale. The deep amber colour and the shape are unique to this find.

PW70 - Cerussite - SOLD

WOW! What a large and fantastic cerussite crystal from Tsumeb! Transparency like glass, lustre like a mirror and a form like a skyscraper! Incredible features and hard to find in any mineral species. This cerussite has all of them. The crystal is so rich in forms and faces, it is truly amazing! The pointed termination atop contrasts with a bevelled flat termination on a side crystal and some twinned crystals poking out on the right side. Just wonderful - one of the very best and most impressive cerussite crystals i have ever seen from any locality in the world.

A123 - Cobaltoan Smithsonite - SOLD

Size: 8.1 x 7.8 x 4.6 cm

What an amazing sample of richly pink cobaltoan smithsonite! A vug in galena and tetrahedrite ore is filled with sharp and well modified smithsonite crystals of altering size. A 20mm wide crystal is placed right in the centre of the piece and gives it a clear focal point of interest. Smaller crystals around form a pleasing contrast and make a nice balance. No damage to all crystals in the vug.

Gorgeous twinned cerussite crystals featuring phantoms and a negative crystal with water bubble inclusion!

24 - Pyrargyrite - SOLD
St. Andreasberg, Harz Mts, Lower Saxony, Germany
Size: 7.4 x 6.6 x 2.4 cm

This is an excellent specimen form a classic European locale. Several well terminated crystals up to 1.3 cm in size are sitting on the upperedge of a white calcite matrix. The crystals have been well preserved from natural daylight and still glow fiercely red when backlight!Found in 1864 (according to an old label coming with the specimen), the piece has been in several well-known collections thereafter! Ex collections Wüster, F.H. Pough, L.H. Conklin, M. Baumstark collections.
