This is a large and very 3-dimensional aggregate of kidney ore from a classic English locality. The botryoidal crystal cluster in the center is truly very well exposed, much better than the picture shows it, and serves aa a wonderful focal point. No damages on the entire center region of the piece. The luster is exceptionally glossy, and the colour is a lovely reddish brown. Total weight: 4.3 kg. Ex Oliver Konczer collection #558.

A perfect floater of doubly terminated clinozoisite crystals! The piece comes from an old find, very few specimens have ever reached this level of clarity and bright, open colour. Another stunning piece from Oliver Konczer's collection, #17. No damage.

LK20 - Realgar - 1700€
No. 5 Mine, Baia Sprie (Felsöbánya), Maramures Co., Romania
Size: 5.6 x 4.9 x 2.9 cm

A very large 3.5 cm doubly terminated realgar crystal sits perfectly centered on a matrix made of stibnite and calcite. The specimen is a floater and perfectly crystalized on all sides. Oliver had bought the entire pocket of these wonderful realgar specimens when they came out, and he had kept this amazing miniature specimen in his private collection for good reasons. It is super aesthetic and one of the very best pieces from the find. Certainly it needs protection from the light, as all realgar pieces do.

A classic, honey coloured, twinned calcite crystal perched on top of a dolomite matrix. This specimen comes from the "Mineralien Museum der Humboldt Universit├Ąt Berlin", two old labels are coming with the piece. The matrix is in fact much larger than shown on the picture, it is easily the size of the calcite crystal, possibly even a bit larger. No damage. A classic and very aesthetic specimen! What a stunning floater cluster of 2 generations of goethite crystals! The specimen is complete all around and very showy from multiple angles. My preferred angle is actually the exact opposite side of this wonderful picture taken by Albert Russ. Great aesthetics, no damage. Ex Oliver Konczer collection.
