PE70 - Vesuvianite with Hessonite - 430€

The combination of both minerals is very rare from this rodingite locality. The vesuvianite developed small crystals up to 10 mm long, and the hessonite shows sharp, glossy faces and nicely contrasting red color.
PE45 - Dolomite - 485€

Size: 9.9 x 6.5 x 5.9 cm
During WW2 the underground shafts were blasted, the last entrance to an old shaft collapsed around a decade ago - there is only a limited number of old specimen and this particular piece is quite remarkable. The crystals feature excellent twins and phantoms. The main crystal is 8.3 cm across, razor sharp along the edges and highly lustrous.
PE52 - Strontianite - 700€

Famous classic material from this most relevant locality which produced the best strontianites in the world. Field-collecting is prohibited since decades, no new material can be expected. The specimen consists of spherical aggregates of light colored crystals, the assemble is very tri-dimensional in person. A full floater specimen, no significant damage to report.

The sharp octahedrons are up to 18 mm across, a remarkable size for the locality and a very eye-catching sample with lots of well exposed crystals.
XY153 - Dolomite - 750€

During WW2 the underground shafts were blasted, the last entrance to an old shaft collapsed around a decade ago - there is only a limited number of old specimens, no new material will come out! The exposed main crystal on top is twinned and measures 9 cm across. The piece is a floater and very 3-dimensional. The matrix is covered by tiny sparkling needle quartz crystals. IM01 - Sphene - 1450€
Amertal, Felbertal, Pinzgau, Salzburg, Austria
Size: 5.8 x 4.7 x 2.3 cm
Razor sharp and gemmy titanite twins perched on a nicely contrasting matrix. The largest crystal on top measures 18 mm in length. The colour is a bright and vibrant mix of yellow, light green and a little bit of brownish hues, all adding to a very pleasing and typical alpine character of the piece. The large crystal features a truly exceptional clarity, possibly the best quality from the entire pocket. Found by the professional strahlers Gerhard and Hannes Hofer.
XY158 - Flos Ferri - SOLD
