Stunning iron rose from one of the very best pockets ever found on the Mörchnerkar collecting site in Ziller valley. Super glossy front faces and the stepped composition of about 10 hematite blades in a row make this truly an exceptional specimen, very rare and highly sought after by alpine collectors. Mica crystals set a pleasing contrast. Alpine hematites of this size are indeed excedingly rare!
Superb amethyst sceptre featuring great colour and form. A "fenster" in the middle of the front face sets a nice accent. Small parts of adularia, mica and hematite are included and attached in the lower section. The tip has very minor edge wear, most of which is a tiny and trivial natural chip, that is going to the rear side and fully rehealed. The crystal is indeed in excellent shape and condition all around!
This is a superb elongated smoky quartz crystal raising from a group of smaller ones. Great clarity and condition!
Single clear quartz crystal showing an exceptionally fine phantom. The tip is not damaged and in perfect condition.
Fantastic large demantoide crystals resting on schist matrix. From the classic old finds at Sferlun quarry, Val Malenco. The main crystal group measures 28 mm across and is perched right in the top centre of the piece. All the crystals are in excellent condition. A superb specimen from this old classic locality!
Stunning red fluorite crystals perched on top of a smoky quartz. Super sharp and glossy faces!
Incredibly clear "Tessin" style quartz crystals in a very aesthetic group. The crystals have wonderful striations and are super lustrous on all sides!
Gorgeous pink fluorites perched on a single clear smoky quartz. No damage and no repair!
A 12 by 10 mm "knee" twin crystal perched on schist matrix.
Totally clear smoky quartz cluster on granite matrix. The piece comes from the famous Rufibach pocket and is in perfect condition all around.
Large, elongated strontianite crystals with 6-sided pyramidal termination on dolomite matrix. Very 3-dimensional and perfect on all sides. Strontianites of the "quartz" habit are very rare, only very few specimens have been found in the 1960s. This piece comes from an old miner and is an excellent sample from the find.
Lovely pink fluorites scattered on granite matrix. The edges are slightly water worn and a little bit rounded.
