A large well formed cluster of intergrown bright yellow fluorite crystals from this famous classic locality. Two larger main crystals are set in the center! All crystals are very glossy, volume and dimension in combination with luster and intense color give a great visual impact to the piece. Although there are some small damages - for Wölsendorf this is really good condition.

During WW2 the underground shafts were blasted, the last entrance to an old shaft collapsed around a decade ago - there is only a limited number of old specimen and this particular piece is quite remarkable. The crystals feature excellent twins and phantoms. The main crystal is 8.3 cm across, razor sharp along the edges and highly lustrous.

Sharp terminated, bright yellow fluorite crystals on matrix in combination with a well developed baryte rose. Some of the crystals edges show a sharp dark phantom. No significant damages to report.

This is a highly aesthetic specimen featuring several freestanding crystal sheaves of pyromorphite. The crystals have a very nice olive green to brownish colour, and the main crystals show somehow hollow crystal formations at their terminations.

WU14 - Rutile - SOLD

Four doubly-terminated rutile crystals up to 20 mm in length resting on a calcite and schist matrix. One of them even shows the typical knee twinning. The crystals are in perfect conditon and the luster is the best you can look for.

PM126 - Strontianite - SOLD

Size: 4.3 x 3.7 x 2.9 cm
This specimen features a large columnar strontianite predominantly sitting on magnesite matrix. Towards the termination the colour gets more intense and results in a pleasing and highly desired reddish brown hue. The prism faces are sharp and lustrous, the termination faces are stepped and bevelled. Oberdorf an der Laming is the only locality in the world that has produced strontianites of that size and quality. This is a remarkably fine miniature, very hard to find in the market today. Ex R. Metzger collection, his label is coming with the piece. A note on the back side says that he sold it to Dr. Thaller in 1961 for 80 Shillings.
