Green schist quartzis considered to be among the very finest from the alps. This is an excellent sample from the Leisalp, Valser valley in Switzerland. Two upright crystals forming a "V" are surrounded by smaller ones at the base. As so typical of this find, green chlorite inclusions at the base add a pleasing colour contrast. Great aesthetics and condition!
